Description
Why THE Alfa is for you
THE Alfa is an all-mountain hero that can do everything and is for everyone. It’s built to perform great on all levels, whatever your style or terrain. With THE Alfa, you can explore the entire mountain without compromising. Making turns when going slow feels effortless, and it keeps stable at high speeds, including riding icy slopes. THE Alfa is for all levels (of fun).
Let’s get technical
THE Tech highlights
Edge Lift Technology
Edge Lift Technology
Our boards are 3D pressed with a subtle lift (max. 1.5mm) of the base and edges at the corners. This raises the contact-points just off the snow. With THE Edge Lift Technology, you’re less likely to catch edges when riding. This makes it easier to make turns with more natural turn initiation and exit, you’ll have a smoother ride, more fun to learn new tricks, and it provides extra floatation in the powder.
Multi-Grip Technology
Multi-Grip Technology
Multi-Grip technology means extra contact points on the heel- and toe sides for extra grip in icy conditions. Think of it as snow-chains on your car tires. But Multi-grip technology is extremely subtle at just under 1mm bumps on the edges underneath your binding areas. It’s almost invisible to the naked eye and unnoticeable in softer snow, but it results in smooth rides with extra grip in harder snow.
THE Shape
Looking sideways: Cam Rock.
The Alfa has camber under the bindings and flat in between for stability and pop, without being too aggressive. The Alfa also has rocker in the nose and tail for easy turn initiation and exit. This wavy curved shape gives THE Alfa its versatility. It doesn’t focus on any specific terrain, but excels everywhere.

The Alfa 157 is a super easy board to ride. It’s lose and playful but on the edge it’s a beast. At high speed you have so much control and gives a ton of confidence back.

Outstanding board! Exactly as described, stable at high speed, holds an edge and carves like a scalpel! Couldn’t be happier you guys checked all the boxes in phenomenal fashion. Pull the trigger on this one you won’t be disappointed.

The alfa is a board of very good manufacture, there are similar characteristics that we find into nidecker, yes or slash boards.
The fact is that the alfa is a concentrate of technologies, it lacks nothing, it makes this board an effective weapon for all types of conditions.
It is easy to access, however it will require commitment in the flat, butters, manuals and precision in the park on the modules (rails, boxes).
On the slopes, it is precise and its core reveals its content as soon as the rhythm is increasing.
At high speed, it’s an extremely efficient board, its pop is enormous but you have to know how to position yourself to get its power.
I have this board in 161, which is to say that it is more made for big jumps than for small jumps at slow speed.
Finally, my feet are 46 / 12us, the width of the 161 is perfect for my shoe size, however I would not recommend it for those who wear 48 / 14us to do euro carves… it will touch.
To conclude, this brand offers boards from a factory with know-how at very competitive prices, it is a pity that the notoriety of THEBOARDSCOMPANY is not recognized by all because having dared to put so many technologies in a single board makes this brand a real choice of purchases for their models. The alfa is an excellent board that can do everything, it is easy to access but will require whoever rides it to get involved to be able to take advantage of all its technologies which make this board a must have !
Good for carving, speed, jumps.
I had or have many boards to compare : burton, nitro, lib tech, never summer, capita, ride, k2, bataleon, drake, to be honnest, the alfa is one of the best I rode.
Good job and long life for your brand ?

I am a man of 200 pounds/90 kilos/175 cm by height and I used the Flow NX2 bindings from 2022 in combination with the Alfa TI 161w.
IMO it’s a true combination of the Jones Frontier and the Capita Mercury (maybe even the Mega Mercury) which are top notch excellent snowboards!!
Tested this board out for 6 days at the challenging (and icey) slopes of Val Thorens, France. The Alfa TI can handle anything!
I experienced it as a strong board that’s fast, easy to turn, quick edge to edge, very stable no chatter, very good grip and has decent pop. Also good for big jumps. Its a pretty stiff board 8/10 so very reliable IMO and used it for all mountain and freeride purposes.
Although it wants to go really really really fast, I also felt it was pretty easy to go medium fast but it does require the rider to have at minimum solid intermediate snowboarding skills and preferably strong legs. It’s not meant for beginners or for freestyling or stuff like that because it’s pretty stiff.
On the many Icey slopes I’ve been, it performed very well.
This Alfa has my favourite snowboard profile which is CamRock with just a little bit of spoon edges! On top of that, the premium mixed wood cores and the rest of the many materials and technology put in this board are truly unmatched!! You won’t find these in other competing snowboards! And certainly not for this price!
Whoever designed the Alfa TI with this unique mix of materials and profile, did a very good job! Bravo!
I definitely recommend the Alfa TI for all mountain and freeride use!
An excellent snowboard for the more serious mountain riders like myself!
